BASKETBALL legend Michael Jordan paid Paris Saint-Germain a visit for their midweek league clash with Reims.
The former NBA superstar, regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time, watching on from the stands with keen interest as Neymar and Cavani scored in a 4-1 Ligue 1 win at the Parc des Princes.
PSG were stunned after going behind in the second minute but a brace from Cavani and a penalty from Neymar helped Thomas Tuchel’s men turn things around, with Thomas Meunier also netting.
But there may have been another reason for Jordan’s presence in Paris.
He has teamed up with Nike to produce PSG’s third kit for this season, which features the iconic Jumpman logo.
The stunning strip will be used throughout their Champions League campaign.
The deal was agreed as part of PSG’s £22m-a-year sponsorship by Nike.
The American sportswear giants are keen for the Jordan brand to expand throughout Europe.
There are also new clothes and footwear available for fans to buy, including a model of the famous Air Jordan shoes.
Speaking at the launch of the kit, Jordan beamed: “Jordan Brand and Paris Saint-Germain share a distinct position in sport and style, so to partner with the club is a natural fit.”
